Well a new news comming and popping up on every iPhone user is that iPhone 5 will be comming in june and Apple have already started producing it.. but its never the less FALSE!

I admit i posted some topic on iPhone 5 but they were off the record. Anyways the Major news is that iPhone 5 the GIANT phone of 2011 maybe not be here in 2011.. Apple have Plans to Increase Software Efficiency in 2011, well this is what Apple Official’s say.

Still Unsure about the exact date but WWDC is appearing on 6^th June 2011 and Apple’s Main aim is Software Development from now! iPad 2 is all in Market no Worries its going fine as per demands.

iPhone 5 will surely be superior to iPhone 4 in many ways but still yet to mind the exact changes and upgrades maybe it gets same shape but WHO TO BLAME ?? no one! Only Apple has Plans for the iPhone 5 report!

Yes this is True.. Steve Jobs (Apple CEO) the man gun behind Apple is suffering from svere pancreas disease he did have an operation in 2004 but still he is suffering, some web pages say that he has a sort of cancer!

His weight has dropped from 175 to 130 pounds and also the hair loss! his Age is just 55. This all news was revealed when President Obama invited Steve Jobs On an Official Dinner At his home.

He was looking very lazy and very weak... the pictures shows the remaining truth.. But I repeat this News is STILL UNCONFIRMED!

How To Restore A 6.15 Baseband (Modem Firmware) iPhone 3G/3GS

This way will fix any bricked iPhone while restoring! make sure you use iTunes 10.1

Step 1 : Download The 4.1 iPhone Firmware Here Using Firefox! http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

Well it all started... as you guys may know that SHatter was an exploit which was found by number of Dev Team Members. THis Morning.. Posninja and MuscleNerd had a tweet's mess when they blamed each other for leaking the exploit.

The main story is which makes it more stiff!.. Someone leaked the SHatter Exploit code into main IRC page where 15 People were present and they fear that it could be used as it Released! Well Now we may see that X-MAS is near and i think.. Redsn0w which was to be supposed as to come near X-Mas may come sooner!

People are warned to change their root password which is alpine by default. This is the main problem with jailbreaking that it makes you insecure.

But now a new jailbreak tool antid0te by Stefan Esser has a new method which promises to jailbreak iOS devices with all the enhanced security mechanisms in place so that the jailbroken iOS devices are secured as much, or even more than the non-jailbroken ones. This new method uses ASLR (Address Space Layout Randomization) which has been absent from all the current iOS devices, making them vulnerable to attacks such as the ones demonstrated at Pwn2Own contest.

Allright so what i have been pretending for a loong time about battery drain issues, finally it is sorted out.. and Thanks to sbinger who made this fantastic tool to officially Update your iPhone ... The Subscriber Artificial Module Will allow you to allow your device to be activated no matter where ever your are and best part WITHOUT LEGIT SIMCARD!!

Allright so new redsn0w (as expected) is released and this included " Deactivate Option "

Here are the Steps (Just Follow Them Patiently & Carefully) -:

** If You are Already Jailbroken with 4.2.1 or 4.1 With Redsn0w, Then SKIP TO STEP 3 **

1: Download the latest Redsn0w 0.9.6b6 for Windows or Mac ( Links Given At The End Of This Post)

2: Follow My older posts on HOW TO JAILBREAK with Redsn0w, You can even Watch my Video’s on Youtube Channel, here is a Video on Jailbreaking With Redsn0w

3: After Done With Jailbreak Now Just Run Cydia And Now Add " http://repo.bingner.com " Into sources and install “SAM” and “SAMPrefs” as shown in the screenshots below

4: Now start the latest Redsn0w 0.9.6b6 select run through the same way by browsing your iPSW and then you only have to CLICK “ Deactivate Option “ . Follow The Same Process of Putting Device in DFU Mode and Let Redsn0w Do it Again For You!.. This will allow your iPhone to To go back to Official Version for SAM to Work

5: Now Go to Settings --> Click SAM and Then click " De-Activate iPhone "

6 : Now Start iTunes, iTunes will work for 5 minutes and then activate your iPhone officially.

Note: If iTunes says invalid SIM, you will need to manually select the carrier under the methods other than Automatic and click on a SIMID.

So once you will see something like THIS!!

And now the last step..

8: GO through Cydia .. Search ultrasn0w and DOWNLOAD the Unlock!! You are done!! Huraay!!

Battery Drain Issues Found After 6.15 Unlock With Ultrasn0w 1.2!! ( FIX IT )

As you all guys know that new unlock and jalibreak has made people crazy with various methods. The Main problem arising from this unlock is a battery drain issue which is NOT NEW to iPhone community. It has been found in earlier version even in official iPhone firmwares too. Firmware 3.1 of Iphone has serious battery issue's for iPhone 3GS. Even Some People are reporting Heating issues on 3GS and 3G.

Anyway This time Unlock for baseband 6.15 (ultrasn0w 1.2) has this issue. Eventually its not with ultrasn0w, its the problem with jailbreak too! when you hacktivate your iPhone serious battery trouble may arise but its only limited to few people, if your device is running smooth then no worries you can always ignore since IOS 4.3 will be comming in december 2010! Yeah just Weeks Away!

An official Fix is being worked on by one and only dev team members of iPhone and even they are looking to work out this issue as soon as possible, there are some ways present at this moment you can always try them on temporary purposes -:

** 1: The first and most obvious way is to try activating the phone. try to find a legit simcard and activate the phone form iTunes from that same traditional way!

** 2: The Other Way is to Install SbSetting.. You can always visit my Mods blog for information on Such applications. But At this moment SbSettings will allow you to run off your 3G mode so that battery drain issue can be cured but just a bit, the main fix should be comming through Devteam way's. Keep Watching! The Blog for Further Updates! You Can Install SbSetting Through Cydia Under BigBoss repo, Alternatively you can Use Search option.. Just type " SbSettings "

Problems If You upgrade to 6.15 baseband

People Out here are just running and just grabbing redsn0w to jailbreak n unlock baseband 5.15 or 5.14 .. well you have to read this before you upgrade.. there is a BIG WARNING for guys who want to have baseband 6.15 -:

** If you upgrade to 6.15 there is no way you can ever restore back to 4.2.1 or 4.1 because your baseband 6.15 will dont allow this. Apple dosent allow baseband downgrades.. and Even in futures you will need custom firmware or tools. DO THIS UNLOCK IF YOU REALLY WANT OR HAVE NO OTHER OPTION

** You will Voilating You warrenty.. If you have warrenty then using baseband 6.15 will make it against the conditions. You have watch the consiquences for this too..

** If some future baseband comes out with a critical fix, you won’t be able to update to it if it remains down in the 05.xx sequence (then again, you wouldn’t update to it if you wanted to keep your unlock anyway).

** Restoring to 4.2.1 Official will FAIL EVERYTIME. You will need Custom Firmwares in Future inorder to Downgrade!

If you are in despirate need Of unlock then go on with baseband 6.15. BUT If you just are upgrading for sake of iOS 4.2.1 then its Better TO WAIT! for a Better way which might come out in few weeks time.

Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 is out.. It is a great news for Unlockers who are stuck on 5.14 and 5.14 basbeand. People If you are on 4.2.1 Then its OK. If not .. FIRST DOWNLOAD iOD 4.2.1 from END OF THIS POST .

iPhone 3GS & 3G baseband should have to be Upgraded to 06.15.00 so that it can be unlocked using the newly released Ultrasn0w 1.2.

The redsn0w 0.9.6beta5 gives users ability to flash the iPad 06.15 baseband on iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS. It takes baseband files (data) directly from Apple for now and feeds that on to your current 4.2.1 for 4.1 Version For iPhone. The only IPSW you ever point it at is the stock IPSW for the FW on your iPhone right now).

IMPORTANT : If you do flash your baseband via redsn0w, please keep it plugged into USB the whole time. Keeping Plugged In Will Save your Battery From Dain Outs.

Note: This release of Redsn0w is for iPhone 3GS & 3G users on iOS 4.1 / 4.2.1 who rely on a carrier unlock. iTunes 10.1 Music BIG!! (BUSTED!!)

It seems that Apple is having a tough time ironing out all of the bugs in the recent iOS 4.2 update. First, the iPad’s Wi-Fi connection issues that caused a delay in the release of the update and now another bug has popped up. Some people have reported music mysteriously disappearing on the iPhone and iPod Touch, right after updating to iOS 4.2. The music still appears on the iOS device when connected to iTunes but does not show up on the device itself. This appears to be a database bug, as the music files are still actually on the iOS device, but you just can’t access them.

The solution to this problem is to plug in your iOS device and launch iTunes. Then in the sidebar, click the arrow next to your device and select music. Play any song and sync your device again. When you go to play a song on your iPhone using the iPod app, all of your music should be available for listening.

WARNING!! New Baseband in iOS 4.2.1 (Unlockers DONT EVEN TRY IT)

It was possible to update from 4.0/4.0.1 to 4.1 while using TinyUmbrella to restore your iPhone 4 to the latest iOS without upgrading your baseband – therefore you could still use ultrasn0w to unlock. But that fun-ride is over… at least for now.

It seems that Apple has decided to put a baseband requirement on iOS. So at this point, if you are using Saurik’s server or tiny umbrella and trying to restore 4.2.1 on an iPhone 4, you will end up in recovery mode and tiny umbrella will not be able to pull you out of recovery.

In this case, you will have to restore 4.1 again or you will have to restore 4.2.1 stock and be tether jailbroken. (Of course, I recommend 4.1 and not bothering with 4.2.1 at all). If you are an unlocker, this is a no brainer. Do not update to 4.2.1 even to test it at this point.

You Should always remember that new unlock will be also ultrasn0w! ultrasn0w will be updated to work on newer basebands!! yeah it will!! so same repo for ultrasn0w just new expectation that now it supports 5.14 and still uncertain about 5.15 keep your fingers crossed!!

Fix Error 1013 While Restoring to 4.2.1.. iTunes 10.1

Recently with Apple’s 4.2.1 Update With iTunes 10.1 Many people are having problems with Restores. The Most Common is with ERROR 1013. Apple Has noticed this issue and they should take a psotive action upon this. Here’s a solution to Fix this -:

** Windows Users -:

Step 1. Start –> Programs –> Accessories

Step 2. Run Notepad or WordPad

Step 3. Click “Open..” from File menu.

Step 4. Browse to Windows/System32/drivers/etc

Step 5. In "files of type:" select all documents

Step 6. Open "hosts"

Step 7. Delete all line that has "gs.apple.com" or something like that

Step 8. Hit Save

Step 9. Restore your device

** Mac Users -:

Step 1. On your Mac, go to your “Applications” folder.

Step 2. Now navigate to the “Utilities” folder.

Step 3. Launch "Terminal".

Step 4. Type "sudo nano /etc/hosts" (without quotes) and hit return.

Step 5. Enter your password

Step 6. Use the down arrow key to find the “gs.apple.com” entries. Once the cursor is in front, make sure you comment out the line(s) by entering “#” in front of the text.

Step 7. Save the file by pressing CONTROL+O.

Redsn0w 0.9.6 beta 3 Released!! Jailbreak iOS 4.2.1

Since Cydia is broken on iOS 4.2.x, the new Redsn0w 0.9.6b3 released today supports iOS 4.2.1 so that developers can make their jailbreak-apps compatible before Apple releases the final firmware to public. Using this version of Redsn0w, you can now install jailbreak-apps without using Cydia.

Your jailbreak-app package however must be in a format that Redsn0w can read. i.e. gzip-compressed tar file, and it must be around 15MB in size. For our convenience, The iPhone Dev Team has released OpenSSH package in .tgz format which Redsn0w can identify. Follow the instructions below to install it on your jailbroken iOS 4.2.1 device.

Step 1: Once you done with the jailbreak run Redsn0w again and this time select “Install Custom Bundle” & “Just boot tethered right now” options. This will prompt you to select the package you want to install as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 2: Once you have selected the required package that you want to install, wait for Redsn0w to process the file. Now click “Next” and proceed with the normal instructions which involves entering into DFU mode.

Step 3: Once done, your iOS device will reboot with SSH package install. You can now use WinSCP on Windows, or Cyberduck on Mac to install to SSH into your device.

Step 4: Now from here onwards, whenever you want to SSH into your device, you must first run your device in the so called “jailbroken state” on every reboot by using “Just boot tethered right now” option in Redsn0w.

Turn iPhone & iPod Touch into 3D Cinema

A Japanese media artist Jitsuro Mase has come up with this amazing accessory for iPhone and iPod touch which allows you to watch movies in 3D without having to wear any of those funky-looking 3D glasses.

His invention called the i3DG Palm Top Theater, strategically places a set of 3 half-silvered mirrors at a 45-degree angle on top of the iPhone using a concept known as Peppers’ Ghost. This creates a 3D image when looking down across the iPhone screen but best of all does not require any 3D glasses.

Described as a simple analogue extension to view 3D videos, animations and accelerometer-based games, this simple add-on could allow for a whole new host of ideas and games. If enough developers are intrigued by this concept, they could potentially start creating content in thirds. Having already gained attention at the Ars Electronica Festival, it is now scheduled to appear at the 2012 Rotterdam International Film Festival.

Problems with this technology are that it requires every video to be split up into the three components and since each layer is less than a third of a portion of the display, the viewing area is tiny with low resolution.

iReb 4.0 - 4.1 RC2 - No More Restoring Errors In iTunes

Most of you have been getting errors when trying to restore your iDevices with Custom IPSW files on Windows. The reason why is because your device must be EXPLOITED before you can restore with a Custom IPSW. For MAC users this is normally done via PwnageTool by selecting the "DFU MODE" option. Once you put your device into DFU Mode, PwnageTool will then proceed to upload a special Payload that will put your device into a "Jailbreak+DFU Mode" allowing you to restore Custom IPSW's via iTunes. But now with the new version of iREB, Windows users can do this as well!

iREB 4.0.x-4.1 RC2 will allow you to put your device into a LOW LEVEL DFU+Jailbreak Mode allowing you to restore your iDevices using Custom IPSW's on Windows via iTunes. This is the same method that is used in when you select DFU Mode in PwnageTool. This is different that just the normal DFU mode as this basically uploads a special payload while you are in DFU mode that allows you to restore your device using Custom IPSW's without having to worry about any errors in iTunes!

The folks who brought us OpeniBoot based Bootlace for running Android on iPhone 3G are now working hard on porting it to iPhone 4 and the large-screen-tablet iPad. For those of you who don’t know, OpeniBoot is an open source implementation of iBoot bootloader for Apple iOS based devices. It allows booting of unsigned code such as Linux kernels on the device. OpeniBoot is critical for booting and usage of Linux based distros such as Android on the iPhone as it sets up and initializes many devices ready for the Linux kernel to take over. Currently, only iPhone 3G, 2G and the 1st-gen iPod touch is supported.
